1. About NutraSafe

NutraSafe is a mobile application operated by Aaron Keen, sole trader, United Kingdom ("NutraSafe", "we", "us", "our").

NutraSafe helps users track food expiry dates, allergens and nutritional information. These Terms govern your access to and use of the app.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using NutraSafe you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must uninstall the app and stop using it.

3. Eligibility

You must be 16 years or older and legally able to form a binding contract in the UK to use this app.

4. Account Registration

You may create an account using an email and password.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login details secure.
• All activity under your account.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

5. Paid Features / Subscriptions

If NutraSafe offers paid upgrades or subscriptions through the Apple App Store:

• Payments are handled solely by Apple Inc. under its terms and refund policy.
• Your access to premium features will begin once payment is confirmed.
• Cancelling a subscription is managed through your Apple ID settings.

We do not process or store any payment information ourselves.

6. User Content

You may enter food logs, photos, and notes ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your data but grant NutraSafe a limited licence to store and process it for the purpose of providing the service.

You must not upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading material.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access or interfere with other users' data.
• Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the app.
• Use NutraSafe for any unlawful or commercial scraping activity.

9. Data and Privacy

Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, available in-app and at https://www.nutrasafe.co.uk/privacy-policy.html.

We use Firebase to store account and usage data securely.

10. Intellectual Property

All app design, text, icons, and code are owned by Aaron Keen.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or reuse any part of NutraSafe except for personal use.

11. Service Availability

We aim to keep NutraSafe available and reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• NutraSafe is provided "as is".
• We are not liable for any loss of data, indirect or consequential damages, or reliance on in-app information.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Updates will appear in-app and on our website with a new effective date.

Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
