How to manage your NutraSafe data

Delete your NutraSafe account, see what is removed or kept, or export your food diary. Same steps in the NutraSafe app on Android and iPhone.

Deleting your NutraSafe account

Use these steps to request that your NutraSafe account be deleted. This cannot be undone.

  • Open the NutraSafe app.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap Privacy & data, then Your data.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Confirm when asked.

If you cannot open the app, email support@nutrasafe.co.uk from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.

What is deleted

When you delete your NutraSafe account, we remove your account sign-in and the personal data tied to it, including:

  • Food diary entries
  • Weight history and weight photos
  • Reaction logs
  • Coach chat history
  • Fasting plans and sessions
  • Workout history stored in your account
  • Recipes and recipe photos in your account
  • App settings and preferences
  • In-app feedback threads tied to your account
  • Contribution stats tied to your account

Personal data is removed from our live servers within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days.

What is kept

Some records are not fully erased, for the reasons below.

  • Foods, reports or label photos you added to the shared NutraSafe food database stay in the database, with your account details removed so they are no longer linked to you.
  • App Store or Google Play subscription and purchase records may be kept where we must retain them for legal or accounting reasons.
  • Support emails may be kept for up to 24 months for audit and dispute resolution.
  • Anonymous cookie consent records, which never stored your account id.

Deleting your data but keeping the account

This keeps your NutraSafe sign-in and removes personal data stored in the account: diary, weight, photos, reactions, coach history and settings. It cannot be undone.

  • Open the NutraSafe app and go to Settings.
  • Tap Privacy & data, then Your data.
  • Tap Delete all data.
  • Confirm when asked.

Exporting your diary

This is the export that works in the NutraSafe app. You can download up to 3 months of your food diary as a spreadsheet or a PDF. The file stays on your phone until you share or save it.

  • Open the NutraSafe app and go to Settings.
  • Tap Privacy & data, then Your data.
  • Tap Export diary.
  • Choose Spreadsheet or PDF.
  • Choose a date range: last 7 days, last month, or last 3 months.
  • Share or save the file.

Other data we hold

The in-app export is the diary only. If you need a copy of anything else we hold on your NutraSafe account, email us from your sign-in address and we will help.

  • Open Settings → Privacy & data → Your data.
  • Tap Export everything else, then Email Us.
  • Or email support@nutrasafe.co.uk from your sign-in address with the subject Data export request.
